Visiting Mines
|
|
We encourage you to visit the Mines campus and meet with faculty in your department of interest and with the Graduate Office staff. Drop-ins are welcome, though it may be difficult to find a faculty member available during unscheduled visits.
(Prospective undergraduate students, please click here: Visit Mines)
Accepted graduate students can receive up to $300 of travel reimbursement for their visit to campus. Please contact your department to discuss visitation options. Travel reimbursements must be authorized within 120 days of travel or program is nullified. Paperwork for reimbursement is handled by the department.
To discuss visiting options for prospective graduate students, contact Jahi Simbai, Director of Graduate Recruiting and Admissions via e-mail at jsimbai@mines.edu. Please indicate which department(s) you'd like to visit and when you would like to visit (date and time). Additionally, please attach a resume.
We will work with the departments to find appropriate faculty for you to meet with.
We will contact you via e-mail to confirm the schedule and will provide you a parking permit.
Colorado School of Mines is located about 35 miles west of Denver International Airport (DEN).
