CareersOne thing is for sure. Mines students graduate and get great jobs. It's consistent from year to year—more than 90 percent of seniors will accept job offers in industry or go to the graduate school of their choice following commencement. Now that's a good reason to celebrate and toss your cap in the air.
Average starting salaries are more than $60,000 (that's more than $30 per hour). But more importantly, Mines graduates meet the demand. With more than 200 recruiters attending our career fairs, a job is out there waiting for you and you can make a difference.
Career Services at Mines offers students an abundance of resources: career counseling, tips on resume writing, practice interviews, access to competitive internships and co-ops, and of course full-time career opportunities upon graduation. They can also help you find a part-time job on campus, providing extra spending money and introducing you to new people at Mines.
