Microtunneling/Pilot Tube

SCOPE OF THE COURSE
This intensive short course is designed to provide a comprehensive background and review of the current and emerging techniques in the fast growing field of microtunneling. The course will utilize industry and academic leaders as course instructors to provide the latest and most complete information currently available on microtunneling.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This course is intended for public works and utility officials, engineers, planners, managers, contractors, and equipment manufacturers involved in any phase of trenchless technology.

LOCATION
The courses will be taught in the Green Center on the Colorado School of Mines campus in Golden, Colorado. Golden is located about 13 miles west of downtown Denver in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Transportation from Denver International Airport may be arranged by visiting our Travel Information page and clicking on "DIA Ground Transportation."

FEES AND REGISTRATION
The Pilot Tube course will be held on February 9 and the fee is $545. The Microtunneling course runs February 10-12 and costs $1,325. Any one day of the Microtunneling course may be attended for a fee of $600. The fee for attending all four days is $1,550.

The registration fee includes registration, course notebook, coffee breaks and lunches. You may register electronically by clicking here: Register or send to the address below for a brochure with registration form. Payment and/or purchase order must accompany registration.

The course notebook may be purchased for $150.00 by individuals who are unable to attend or by those wanting multiple copies. Each attendee and speaker will receive, free of charge, a copy of "Practical Guideline for the Application of Microtunneling Methods," by Dr. Dietrich Stein.

The sponsor reserves the right to cancel the courses and return registration fees if enrollment is insufficient. This course is offered as part of the Statewide Extended Studies Program of the Colorado Commission on Higher Education.
