LaTeX

la·tex
ˈlāˌtek or ˈlahˌtek

LaTeX is a document preparation system for high-quality typesetting. It is most often used to product technical or scientific documents, but it can be used for almost any form of publishing.

LaTeX Bibliography

Many, if not all, of the papers, posters or project write-ups that you will need to do, will require a bibliography in order to cite your sources for the information contained. There are 2 approaches (among many others) for accomplishing this in LaTeX which we will investigate.

First, for large and/or on-going projects, you may find a citation management tool useful for not only helping create LaTeX bibliographies, but also helping organize and track articles, books, and other documents throughout your academic career.

We won't pursue assignments regarding these tools but for future reference, you may find some very good information on the options available in this Citation Management Guide.
