Career Days and Job Events at mines

Career Days at Mines are the largest career fairs in the Rocky Mountain region! Thousands of students attend these signature events held in both the fall and spring. The week surrounding Career Days encompasses a series of additional events and opportunities to connect with the exceptional student body at Mines. These activities include on-campus interviews, student organization events, Prep with Reps, and more! Career Days are a must for recruiters to connect with students, network with industry peers, and find the impressive talent they are looking to hire.

Mines FALL 2025 Career Days: SEPTEMBER 16-17

9 a.m. – 3 p.m. MST in the Student Recreation Center

(1651 Elm Street , Golden, CO, 80401)

Employers will select one industry that best defines their company and attend the date that aligns; both dates are open to students and alumni of all majors and degree levels. Career Days aim not only for job placement but also career exploration. Students are encouraged to engage with all employers, regardless of major or degree, to expand their networks and knowledge.

DAY 2 is Wednesday, September 17, 2025 | High Tech, Aerospace, and Futures

Industries: Aerospace/Defense/Aviation, Automotive, Banking/Finance/Accounting, BioTech/BioEng-Pharmaceuticals, Education/Instruction/Administration, Electrical/Electrical Components, *Government/Public Sector, Healthcare/Medical Equipment, High Tech/Information Technology, Legal/Law, Manufacturing/Machinery/Equipment, Metals, Military, Retail/Wholesale

*Government/Public Sector will select the best date that aligns with their organization, and are still only able to attend one of the two dates.

Recruiting Events: Prep with reps

Prep with Reps

September 15, 2025 12PM-3PM

Ben. H. Parker Student center, Grand Ballrooms

Prep with Reps is an opportunity for company representatives to meet Mines students and assist with their professional development by offering individual resume reviews, interview tips, and professional development advice before Career Days.

Registration will open at a later date; companies confirmed to attend the Fall 2025 Career Days will receive registration information. 

*Companies must be registered for the Career Days in order to participate.

Prep with Reps Format

To support employer and student connections and develop student skill building, the event is arranged into various “zones” of skill building. Attending representatives will be placed in a zone upon arrival, and students can navigate freely through the zones. Zones to choose from can include resume, booth approach, and interviewing skills.

Additional Details

  • Location: Prep with Reps will be held in-person on September 15th, 2025 from 12PM-3PM in the Student Center Grand Ballrooms. Lunch will be provided for employers beginning at 11AM.
  • Cost: Registration for the event is $100 per company. Employers can have up to 3 representatives attend.
  • Prep with Reps has limited capacity and employers are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. We will keep an interest list once the event is full.
