Support for Adobe Products

Acrobat is installed on the base Lab build. Additional Adobe products are installed in BH201, BH203, BH222 and the library. To use the licensed products on individual computers, see the "Method for Obtaining" section below.
Scope of License
Per seat device license for lab computers and per named user license for Adobe product (ex. Acrobat Pro, Creative Cloud) licenses.
Method for Obtaining
Visit our Adobe License Request service here in Mines Help Center to get started. For new license requests, a purchase is required (using either a department Workday "Worktag" or a Mines OneCard), through our preferred reseller CDW-G. All new requests for Adobe licenses will be provided with options based on Mines' existing annual subscription model only. See our section below on Adobe perpetual licenses for help if you have an existing license, which uses a serial number or key

In case of difficulties running the software in a Mines IT managed lab: Contact IT via the Mines Help Center. We want the program to be properly installed, licensed, and functioning. If you have questions about the use of the program, you may also contact your instructor, TA or lab manager.
Perpetual (Older / Legacy) License Types
Note as of 2023, "Perpetual" (serial/key) licenses will no longer be an option for Mines users requesting new licenses. Existing perpetual licenses acquired previously may still be supported if the original activation details are available. Adobe has announced that in late 2025, they will no longer support perpetual licenses. For details on locating the original serial information, please see the following section.
Below you can find detailed instructions for the support of Perpetual licenses:
To login to the Licensing Website:
- Go to https://licensing.adobe.com
- Use the login (Customer’s Email address, from the order)
- Then Click on Forgot Password or Create New Password or Use their password on adobe.com
To get the Serial Number:
- Move the cursor to the Licenses tab
- Choose Retrieve Serial Number
- Then Highlight the End User ID and select the correct ID
- Click on Search
- Filter the results by product name
To Download any of your purchases:
- Move the cursor to the Licenses tab
- Choose Download Software
- Then choose the End User/Deploy To ID
- Then Click on View all
- Filter the results by product name
