What is a Wellness Coach?
A wellness coach acts as a catalyst, motivator, and guide, helping you set meaningful goals and cultivate a positive, resilient mindset to enhance your overall health and well-being.

Wellness Coaching is not therapy
Wellness coaching emphasizes action and personal growth. It guides individuals in setting goals, identifying strengths, and making lifestyle changes to improve overall well-being.
Mental health therapy, on the other hand, addresses specific psychological concerns, such as mental illnesses or emotional distress. Wellness coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Your wellness coach will help you connect with counseling services if needed.
What to expect
Set health and wellness goals
Together, you’ll create a Wellness Vision—a personalized statement that defines your ideal state of well-being. This vision goes beyond merely setting goals; it involves understanding your deepest values, aspirations, and what truly matters to you.
Identify obstacles
Coaches help you identify and understand the obstacles that are preventing you from reaching your goals. These obstacles can be internal, such as limiting beliefs, lack of motivation, or poor time management, or external, like a busy schedule, lack of resources, or unsupportive environments.
You’ll gain insight into these barriers and develop strategies to overcome them. This might involve reframing negative thoughts, building new habits, or finding creative solutions to external challenges. The goal is to empower you to navigate these obstacles effectively, ensuring they don’t stand in the way of your progress and well-being
Create a plan
Together, you’ll develop a realistic plan that include tools such as SMART goals, mind mapping, journaling, and brainstorming.
Provide support and motivation
Coaches help you stay accountable. They offer ongoing encouragement, celebrate successes, and help you overcome challenges.
