cALL for proposals
We invite you to submit a proposal to facilitate a breakout session during the event. Want to lead a discussion on a timely DEIA topic? Want to share DEIA efforts you’ve incorporated in your class to help foster a greater sense of belonging? We want to read your ideas. Proposals will be reviewed by a small committee of faculty, staff and students. Mines DEIA will cover all your expenses associated with facilitating your workshop and lead the marketing efforts to drum up enthusiasm for your session.
Proposals from speakers external of Mines are not being accepted at this time.

celebration schedule
Stay tuned!
Workshop proposal submissions are being received and the Celebration’s schedule will be posted in February. If you have any questions or concerns please contact diversity@mines.edu for assistance.
Scope out last year’s Celebration schedule to get a perspective on the day.
Each department/unit will provide a poster which will be on display during the Celebration. These posters are intended to highlight
1) department and units’ DEIA-related activities they’re most proud of,
2) their activities’ alignment with the four campus DEIA goals,
3) outcomes and highlights of those efforts,
4) and how units leverage collaboration for their activities.
Posters will be displayed and staffed by a dept/unit representative so community members can ask questions and explore future collaborations.
Additional information:
-
