Kate leads the DEIA Team at Mines and collaborates across campus to help the university achieve its strategic goals around diversity, equity, inclusion and access, including the cultivation of a campus culture that promotes and celebrates inclusion and achievement and continued work to attract and retain both a diverse student body and employee community.

Responsibilities on Team:
Kelly leads initiatives that raise awareness and messaging for Mines DEIA. This includes the DEIA monthly digest, website and social media, and the annual Celebration of DEIA at Mines. Kelly helps secure, implement, evaluate and amplify new and existing programming that supports Mines DEIA focus areas. She is also responsible for managing DEIA annual awards and finances.

Responsibilities on Team:
Heather leads the data and evaluation efforts for Mines DEIA. This includes tracking DEIA-related metrics, writing DEIA technical reports, conducting surveys on DEIA topics, and working with units across campus on evaluating their DEIA goals. She is also responsible for contributing to sponsored research and grant-writing related to DEIA at Mines.
