Matthew Crabtree came to Mines from Katy, TX to pursue a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently working at the Rocky Mountain Industrial Assessment Center as a Student Lead reviewing energy efficiency assessments for nearby manufacturing facilities. He previously worked as a Rotating Equipment Engineer Intern at bp, and a Lead Peer Mentor for the New Student Transition Services office at Mines. Matthew is a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon chapter at Mines, and serves as a Student Director on the fraternity’s National Board. After graduation, he plans to continue his education at Mines pursuing a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
