| Walker Gordillo is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, and plans to study mechanical engineering at Mines. He’s passionate about the environment and all things outdoors. Although he lived much of his life below sea level, he looks forward to exploring the mountains of Colorado. This summer, Walker was part of the Joint Science Education Project, where he spent three weeks studying climate science and polar engineering in Greenland, alongside students and research mentors from the US, Greenland, and Denmark. |
