Open Enrollment 2025
Classified Employee 2025 Open Enrollment will be held April 8-28, 2025 for benefits that are effective July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026. This year Open Enrollment is Passive. This means that if you do not make changes to your benefit elections, your current elections will roll into the new plan year. You may review the 2025-26 Benefits Guide for plan information and premium rates. Per the State, due to increasing healthcare costs, our medical and dental premiums and employee contribution rates are going up starting on July 1, 2025. The attached file details the increase in medical and dental premiums from the 24-25 to the 25-26 plan year. Employees who want to make changes must make all benefit elections and beneficiary designations in BenefitSolver. The company key is “SOC”. You will NOT login to Workday to make changes. You can only view your current elections in Workday for payroll deductions.
Are You Eligible for Reduced Premiums?
If you plan on covering one or more dependent children on your medical plan, you might be eligible for premium assistance. You can apply for the State of Colorado’s Medical Insurance Premium Supplement Program from April 8 through May 9, 2025.
Flexible Spending Account Information:
Participation in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) requires active enrollment each year. If you currently have an FSA, you will have to re-enroll.
Health Savings Account (HSA) Information:
Current HSA participants and those enrolling in a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) for FY 2025-26 will be contacted directly about how to set up their new WEX HSA and how to transfer their Optum HSA balance to their WEX HSA if that is their preference.
Reminder: This year is a passive enrollment: If you don’t make changes to your benefits, your current benefits elections will roll into the new plan year, except for FSAs which require a new election each year.

- Supplement application period: April 8 – May 16, 2025

Attend one of the four open enrollment webinars for State Employees presented by the DPA-DHR Employee Benefits Unit to learn about updates to your benefits package, what you should do during open enrollment, and more! Find a time that works for your schedule and register using the links below. American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be available at all four webinars. Spanish interpretation will be provided for the first webinar and will be recorded.
