Angel Armenta, originally from Commerce City, Colorado, came to Mines in 2022 to study mechanical engineering. He is now working on a minor in robotics and intelligent systems. Angel also serves as the Academic Chair on the executive board of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and is a founding line member of Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity. Additionally, he works as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Mines Interactive Robotics Research Lab (MIRRORLab). He enjoys being outdoors, rock climbing, and helping others in the community.
