Time to Ungrind
Time to Ungrind is a movement to fight back against hustle and grind culture. In partnership with the Coalition of Colorado Campus Alcohol and Drug Educators, Mines analyzes self-reported student wellness data and creates programs to encourage students to use healthy coping strategies when they feel overwhelmed.

The event is free and has been organized by Student Wellness Promotion with collaborating campus departments, student volunteers, and representatives of The Jordan Porco Foundation.
Come visit the Upper Gym of the Rec Center on Wednesday, February 26th from 10am-1pm. There will be free breakfast burritos, 10 booths to check out, and a chance to win a Yeti Cooler and a Nintendo Switch.

Sexual and Reproductive Wellness Fair
Mines hosted our first Sexual and Reproductive Wellness fair in February of 2023. This annual event includes: free birth control and STI/HIV testing, sexy cupcakes, snacks, and the chance to win prizes such as adorable reproductive organ plushies and stimulating toys. Students have the chance to talk to campus and community partners about their own sexual health, issues of reproductive justice, positive sexuality, and healthy communication and consent. Participants have included: Mines Student Health Center, SHAPE Office, Mines Counseling Center, Betsy’s Friends: Peer Educators, oSTEM, Ratio Christi, JeffCo Sexual Health Clinic, Colorado Sexual Health Initiative, Be You Colorado, Hey Denver, BC4U, Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault, and COLOR Latina. We want all Mines students to feel knowledgeable, comfortable, and well-equipped when it comes to their sexual and reproductive wellness.
