If you wish to have your name on our waitlist and have not already done so, please confirm your interest as soon as possible by accepting your waitlist status on the waitlist reply form. You can find this form on your Applicant Portal. A student placed on the waitlist must submit the waitlist reply form in order to accept the waitlist status and will then be considered, if spaces in this fall’s incoming class become available.
Upon submission of the waitlist Reply Form, we kindly ask for your patience. We will notify you of the Admissions Committee’s final decision no later than June 1, 2024.
Will I be eligible to live on campus if I am accepted to mines from the waitlist?
All new first-year students are required to live in the residence halls for their first full academic year at Mines. Space availability may require variation from this policy; however, the expectation and requirement to live in the residence halls, when admission is extended to a student from the waitlist, will remain until space availability is determined.
Can I reapply to mines in the future if I am not accepted from the waitlist?
Of course, we welcome transfer student applications. Students who enroll at another college or university, but hope to transfer to Mines in the future, are advised to consider a transfer application to Mines after one year of full-time college studies.
Colorado School of Mines has transfer articulation agreements with multiple area colleges and enrolls transfer students from many other accredited colleges and universities. We encourage students who are considering a transfer to Mines to review the recommended transfer course information.
How do I remove myself from the waitlist?
The easiest way to withdraw from the waitlist is to indicate this decision on the waitlist reply form. You can find this form on your Applicant Portal, or send an email to admissions@mines.edu. If you choose to send your withdrawal request via email, please include your full name and your birth date.
