Project Info
Epitaxial growth of battery materials
Megan E Holtz
mholtz@mines.edu
Project Goals and Description:
This project will create highly controlled interfaces between battery materials, including between different electrode materials and between electrodes and solid phase electrolytes. Using molecular beam epitaxy and solid state synthesis techniques, we will design materials and characterize ion migration using electrochemical and structural characterization techniques.
